After my long term marriage fell apart, in January of 2024, I sought anything that would help take away the pain and loneliness I was feeling. I sought healing from trauma in many places. I threw myself into new communities, attended four wellness retreats, posed for three boudoir photo shoots, screamed my lungs out at many, many burlesqu
After my long term marriage fell apart, in January of 2024, I sought anything that would help take away the pain and loneliness I was feeling. I sought healing from trauma in many places. I threw myself into new communities, attended four wellness retreats, posed for three boudoir photo shoots, screamed my lungs out at many, many burlesque and pole dancing shows, meditated, attended therapy, went through a keening ritual, did breathwork and shamanic journeying, journaled more than I have in my entire life, cried alone and with support, made art, attended my first music festival in over 20 years (Future Forest) and finally walked on hot coals after breaking an arrow with my throat!! During this year of intense soul searching, I met so many incredible people who were stepping out of their comfort zone to bring their dreams to life and live as their authentic selves. They INSPIRED me to rediscover who I am and to create this event where people in pain, who feel lost, who feel uncomfortable in their body, who are tired of society telling them how to live and who to be, and who know they want to live their life differently but don't know how to start, can gather together to learn, heal, grow, celebrate, step out of their comfort zone a little and join a community of like minded people who will love them unconditionally! I hope you feel inspired to join us as we fight back against hate by spreading love and joy in the world...one event at a time!
