Hello, I'm Gillian, a 39-year-old devoted mother of three and a loving wife. While my heart beats for my family, my soul  finds its expression through the lens. I am more than a photographer; I am a storyteller capturing the essence of moments that matter most.

My passion lies in boudoir photography, where I seek to empower individuals
through the lens of self-love and confidence. Every click is a celebration of the unique beauty that resides within, capturing the raw and authentic spirit of my subjects. 

Beyond the frame, I've extended my love for empowerment by curating locally and internationally acclaimed Empowerment Retreats. These retreats are not just about photography; they are a journey of self-discovery, fostering confidence and embracing one's true self. 

As residents of the Maritimes, we have a deep appreciation for our natural surroundings. We are committed to sustainable practices that minimize our environmental impact. From responsible sourcing to sustainably harvesting, we strive to make a positive difference while delivering exceptional products that align with our customers’ values. 

We are a family first business driven by our two little spicy beasts! We believe in sustainably harvesting chaga mushroom for preservation. We also source local ingredients wherever possible. We believe that each family should have access to natural nutritious products,  so we work hard to keeping our costs down as much as possible in order to keep the prices low for you! 

My aim with Babalon Leather is to create pieces that inspire confidence and accent the natural lines of the human body. There is much power in this design as the perpetuation of the species has depended on it. In a world where women are bombarded with rape culture and slut shaming I call on you all to take back that power, for it is a power that you possess, to feel sexy and harness the power that is drawn from that confidence.

Frost + Fringe began with my desire and love for macrame wall hangings. I began crafting for myself and to decorate my space, and before I knew it I had too many pieces covering all of my walls! I started giving pieces away as gifts to friends and family and before too long I decided that I would like to be able to share my art with an even bigger audience.

My love for home decor and curating cozy hygge vibes is what keeps me doing what I do! I know that there is power in cultivating your environment, and art, decor, and style plays a big part in that!
